SuNWhoa Love was born in Los Angeles, raised in Pomona, and reborn in Pasadena. The son of two full-time musicians, he grew up surrounded by rhythm and melody but saw no future in music because he was bound by comparison and doubt. Poetry became his first outlet, then singing/rapping, performing with the group The Circuit.

Everything changed when he encountered Jesus and received not only salvation but a new identity. Reborn as SuNWhoa Love, the “Black Samurai G,” he embraced his purpose as both servant and artist. His music became a reflection of grace, truth, and freedom, leading to projects like Kingdom Influence, Black Samurai Music, and the Whoa EP.

Now, with his most anticipated album yet, COURT, SuNWhoa tells the story of divine redemption, where the grace of God is greater than guilt and mercy triumphs over judgment. Beyond music, he is an educator, pastor, and community builder, using every platform to point people toward light.

At his core, SuNWhoa creates from one truth:
