Chris McKinney, better known as CMAC, is a dynamic force in music, blending talent, grit, and authenticity. Born and raised in Jackson, Tennessee, CMACs story is one of resilience and determination. Growing up in a single-parent home, he was shaped by the unwavering strength of his mother and the wisdom of his grandparents. His grandfather became a central figure in his life, so much so that CMAC later named his son in his honor.

CMACs musical journey began in the church, where he discovered both his voice and his passion. His talents carried over into school, earning him accolades in both athletics and music. A gifted multi-sport athlete and Honor Choir standout, CMAC was awarded a partial scholarship to Ole Miss. Yet, in a bold move, he turned down both opportunities to fully pursue his dream of a career in music.

Now, CMAC is ready to make his mark on the industry with the release of his highly anticipated project, “Vol So Hard (The Mixtape) Volume 1,” dropping September 22, 2023. With a story rooted in perseverance and a sound that reflects his journey, CMAC is poised to captivate audiences and cement his place as a rising star.
