From An Idea

Building HITMKR has always been an ambitious vision. Our goal is become the one stop shop for creatives and provide the tools and resources to turn an idea into a consumable piece of art. Regardless if it's in the form of audio, photography, or film. Follow us on our journey towards the new HITMKR, and join our movement.

Our beginning - Marketplace

When we first set out to build HITMKR version 0, we wanted to prove that we can. We built a simple marketplace to upload and sell beats. It wasn't a novel idea, but it was the first step towards our 10 year vision.

We learned a lot from version 0. We felt the pain of acquiring 1 customer, 10 customers, and getting to our first 100 customers. Our producer community powered us and provided amazing feedback every step of the way. We listened, we iterated, and we evolved.

Collaboration

Expanding beyond the marketplace, we side stepped into collaboration and started providing value to audio engineers. Engineers naturally collaborate with artists on a day to day basis during recording sessions, and during the mixing and mastering process. Once again, we learned a lot from our engineer community. We took their feedback, we iterated, and we evolved.

Collaboration Space

We took what we learned over the past one year and built the latest version of HITMKR. This is the version for producers, engineers, and artists. The flow from marketplace to collaboration projects and vice versa is now one seamless experience.

Artists - you now have the opportunity to find a wide variety of beats and record a rough demo. You can now work with producers to craft a unique sound and pair with a world class engineer to produce a sonic masterpiece, all in one place.

Producers - you now have the option to sell beats or work closely with your favorite artist to produce a song. You can bring value back to producers by betting on an artist and working with them longterm.

Engineers - you now have the opportunity to actively contribute to the collaboration and take part in the music making process. We have made it easy for you to share mixes, get instant time-stamped feedback, and cut down the effort of client management.
